Danielle, Holly, Laura and Sarah care campigning to extend opening hours at their local hospital.

Project started: May 2006

Their nearest cottage hospital is open on weekdays from 8am - 8pm and closed at weekends. The next nearest hospital is an hour and a half away by car.

They have all had experience of people having to make the long journey to the nearest hospital out of hours after accidents in the home. Now they have decided to take action.

They are going to campaign to have the hospital open all the time. Their first steps are going to involve contacting local politicians and devising a media campaign to generate interest and support for their campaign.
