Free ACT resources for teaching about the election

The Association for Citizenship Teaching have published a special election supplement to their membership magazine - and it's free for any teacher to use.

Although the magazine itself, Teaching Citizenship, is only available to ACT members, this special election supplement is freely available for anyone to download.

It contains: 'ideas and resources from Hansard and Parliament; candidate profiles and lesson plans; briefings on how the British electoral system works.

In addition, Avril Keating writes on the impact of citizenship education and Jamie Kelsey-Fry tells us what we can learn from activism.
