Channel 4 showcases Chance to be Chancellor, our economic awareness challenge
In a video released on YouTube yesterday by Channel 4 Learning, young people tell how Chance to be Chancellor gave them a voice on Budget 2011.
Chance to be Chancellor is an online challenge for 14-18 year-olds to create their own Budgets for the country.
This annual challenge gives young people the opportunity to tell the Government how they think it should spend the public's money. In doing so they learn about the economic challenges facing the country.
This year their views and opinions were collated into the first ever Youth Budget Report, which was presented to the Treasury.
