Chelmsford school triumphs in courtroom competition

The 20th Bar National Mock Trial Competition came to a head in Belfast on Saturday as sixteen finalists fought for the coveted winning place.

Chelmsford County Girls School, winner of the Bar National Mock Trial Competition 2011

In the end it was Chelmsford County High School for Girls that clinched it, beating back worthy opponent Runshaw College.

The day was as exciting as ever, with fifteen of the teams flying to Belfast specially. Our huge thanks go to all the schools, and to the volunteers from the Bar and the Court Service who made the competition happen on the ground.
