New online network to teach global citizenship launched

Act Global, a partnership project between the Citizenship Foundation and Relief International UK, has launched a new website to support the delivery of global citizenship at key stage 3.

The Act Global project engages students using critical thinking, enquiry-led discussion and a practical commitment to find solutions locally that can have an impact on a range of global issues.

On the website you will find lesson plans, regular blogs with new lesson and resource ideas and a teachers' forum to discuss ideas, resources and issues. If you would like to get involved you can sign up at www.teachactglobal.org.

Schools in London can take advantage of additional offers including free CPD, support to set up after school clubs and a residential. For more information please contact Leila Nicholas, Education and Training Officer.
