'Political X-Factor': national conference on teaching political literacy
With an election around the corner and politicians under heavy public scrutiny, this timely conference supports the teaching of politics in the citizenship curriculum.
Political literacy is one of the most difficult topics to teach, so the Association for Citizenship Teaching has organised a day of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for teachers to learn more about it and how to teach it well.
The conference is on 29 June at the University of London Union.
