InterACT is currently looking for partners in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff

InterACT is a new project run by the Citizenship Foundation. Based on the award winning Youth Act model, it supports groups of 16-25 year old refugees and asylum seekers to come together with local young people, to identify joint issues of concern to them and their communities, and to develop campaigns to tackle them.

InterACT seeks to:
• Break down barriers to integration for young asylum seekers and refugees and build greater community cohesion.
• Support all young people to develop the skills and knowledge to enable them to participate actively in their local community.
• Build a greater appreciation amongst community institutions of young refugees' and asylum seekers' potential to contribute to the local community.
• Increase opportunities for community organisations involved in the project to work together.

We are currently looking for partner organisations in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff to work with us to run the project. We will provide training to all partner organisations and payment to cover the planning and delivery of activities with young people.

For further information and an expression of interest form contact Xenia on Xenia.Davis@citizenshipfoundation.org.uk or 020 7566 4153.

Completed expression of interest forms should be sent to Xenia no later than 12pm on Friday 5th February.
