Teachers' Zone: new website launched to support youth leadership in education

The Youth of Today is thrilled to announce the launch of Teachers’ Zone: a website to support those working in education to develop the full leadership potential of their students.

The Teachers' Zone website works alongside teachers to encourage students to identify their potential, develop motivation and take the bold step of leading others. Leadership skills help students, who may not ordinarily be recognised as traditional leaders, become more confident, more ambitious and better equipped for their future.

The website supports anyone working with young people, aged 13 to 19 in England, to embed youth leadership into their classroom and the wider school setting. It also offers information about a range of The Youth of Today opportunities from world class fellowships to shadowing a local minister or councillor, and the chance to read, comment on and share inspiring case studies.

Click here to view the website and find out more about how Teachers’ Zone can support you and the many free opportunities avaialble.
