FREE Campaigning Training day for 16-19 year olds

Youth Act introduces MAKE AN IMPACT!

Places are available on A FREE Training day for young people who want to make a difference.

The Citizenship Foundation’s Youth Act project is inviting young people Aged 16 – 19 to a FREE one-day workshop at the British Library!

Based upon the Youth Act training model which supports young people to campaign for political and social change in their communities; the day will offer creative activities, debates and workshops equipping young delegates with the skills needed to create and run successful campaigns.

Young campaigners will be joined by recognised figures from the world of campaigning speaking on and sharing their invaluable campaigning experiences on issues ranging from human rights to racism. Information and advice will also be freely available from a number of youth and campaign organisations including People and Planet, Love Music Hate Racism, the NSPCC and the British Youth Council.

The event will take place at the British Library on Tuesday 5th February from 10 am – 4 pm with a free lunch for all delegates.

Places are available free to all 16-19 year olds living, working and studying in London.
