Youth Act trainer sought

The Citizenship Foundation requires a skilled and experienced trainer to help deliver its award winning Youth Act programme.

Youth Act supports groups of young people who want to achieve political or social change in their school, youth club or community.

The successful candidate will train groups of young people and their supportive adults in London, and also adults who work with young people throughout the UK to develop skills in campaigning, political literacy and active citizenship.

They will be required to have knowledge and understanding of community involvement, empowerment, political literacy, the citizenship curriculum in schools and youth work.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 24 July 2007. Interviews will be held in the week beginning 2 August (please note that these dates have changed).
