Take part in G-Week 2007 and win a trip to Kenya

The Citizenship Foundation’s Giving Nation programme is inviting schools to take part in G-Week 2007, a week long celebration of young people’s charity action, fundraising, volunteering and campaigning from 7-13 July.

Schools can use the week to reflect on the value and impact of their charity-related work or run fundraising or campaigning activities.

Participating schools can also take part in the associated Giving Nation Awards by recording and reflecting on their charity action on the giving nation website. 8 prizes of £1,000 are up for grabs for secondary schools across the UK. One overall winning school will receive the once in a life time opportunity to send a group of pupils on an all expenses paid trip to Kenya to experience the work of Sightsavers International.

Schools must complete their entry by 5pm on Wednesday 18 July 2007.
