A partnership of UnLtd, Changemakers, The Scarman Trust and The Prince’s Trust has launched an awards programme to encourage more young people in England to set up projects that will make a real difference.
Making ethical underwear and producing a peer-led magazine are just two examples of projects
The Big Boost awards will help young people start up projects that will hope to make a lasting difference to them as well as to their communities. The programme expects to support more than 12,000 young people over two years, reaching in particular those from less well-off backgrounds.
The Big Boost is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is part of their Young People’s Fund, Grants to Individuals programme, which aims to offer more opportunities to young people and help them improve local communities.
