Internship for citizenship education policy and research

The Association for Citizenship Teaching (ACT) is seeking an intern to help develop their policy work.

As the national professional association for Citizenship education, ACT champions the teaching of citizenship to all young people.

Working with partners in the field of education (including DfES, QCA and Ofsted), ACT aims to influence policy-making and raise the profile of citizenship education. It's work includes direct support to classroom teachers and connect its members to local and national networks.

ACT is offering an internship in developing its policy work. The successful applicant will be involved with proposal writing, researching, responding to major consultations and policy proposals, contributing to ACT's website and journal, and organising national and regional events.

The internship will be two days a week for three months, with an expected start date of mid April.
