Conference to explore New Relationship with Schools

For the last year the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted) have been developing their 'New Relationship with Schools' (NRwS). A forthcoming conference from Capita will help practitioners understand how it affects them.

The stated aim of NRwS is "to help schools raise standards, with clearer priorities, less clutter, intelligent accountability and a bigger role for school leaders in system-wide reform, and better information for parents".

The conference will enable school leaders, governors, LEA officers, inspectors and policy makers to find out what NRwS means for them, how successful it's been so far, and explore the possibilities it offers.

The conference is being held on 22 September in Central London.
