CEWC Human Rights Seminars

CEWC are holding a series of seminars on the theme of human rights and corporate social responsibility. These are co-sponsored by Kingston University Business School and Kingston University School of Education. Broadsheets are available for the first four:

  1. Education for Sustainable Development - held on United Nations Day
  2. The Rights and well-being of Children - held on the 18th birthday of the Convention on the Rights of the Child
  3. Human Rights Education for World Citizenship - held on the 59th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
  4. Corporate Responsibility is Human Rights - making the human link

The fifth seminar is on 25th February 2008 from 4pm to 6pm in room 6032, Frank Lampl Building, Kingston Hill campus. Entitled “The enforcement of Human Rights Law: the challenges ahead” it will be led by Paresh Kathrani of Kingston Law School and Professor Richard Ennals of the Business School. Nobel Peace Prize Nomination

Web Dissemination Event

The Uniting Humanity web dissemination event took place on 18th & 19th October 2007. The event was held at the Northern College Conference Hall, Sheffield, UK. Members from across Europe attended and a Web Dissemination workshop was held by a consultancy team from Kingston University.
